Protecting Our Community’s Health and Ecosystems While Preparing for the Blue Workforce
Water is Life- Water scarcity is being felt across the US and abroad.
Freshwater flows from the Tri-cities, Waukegan, Zion and North Chicago, into Lake Michigan. The Tri-cities border the lake which is part of the Great Lakes system. The Great Lakes hold 20% of the World's Fresh Groundwater. This water is considered "Blue Gold" by many.
