Employee Connections Program Partner Orientations
We are seeking Employers to provide work-based learning experiences, internships and pre-apprenticeship opportunities to young adults ages 16-25 at no cost to employers.
Employer & Trainee Benefits:
Ø For Employers: Skills-ready candidates to hire upon completion of program
Ø For Trainees:
o Paid training hours through Illinois Department of Human Services.
o Trainee-workers transition from an apprenticeship to being hired in an industry link career
o Financial assistance to obtain certifications, or continuous education.
o Wrap-around/supports services
o Transportation assistance to worksites
o Support for a smooth training -to-career transition.
