SPIRIT AIRLINES LAUNCHES NONSTOP FLIGHTS FROM MKE TO LOS ANGELES
New flights to Baltimore and Nashville also begin this week

MILWAUKEE (May 8, 2025) – Spirit Airlines has launched new nonstop service from Milwaukee Mitchell International Airport (MKE) to Los Angeles. A Hollywood-themed celebration was held at MKE to mark the inaugural flight today. Travelers were welcomed with a red carpet, popcorn, and Shirley Temple cocktails.

Flights to Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) will take off from MKE twice per week. No other airline at MKE currently offers flights to Los Angeles, making this an exciting addition. Along with the new Los Angeles flights, Spirit is also adding low-fare nonstop service to Baltimore and Nashville this week.

This launch highlights the continued expansion of options and affordability for MKE travelers. The links below detail the specific schedules for each new route:

• Los Angeles (LAX) Thursdays and Sundays beginning May 8
• Baltimore (BWI) Fridays and Mondays beginning May 9
• Nashville (BNA) Fridays and Mondays beginning May 9

“By choosing to fly from Milwaukee, travelers can support expansion of more nonstop flights from our city. These new flights to Los Angeles, Baltimore, and Nashville give Milwaukee-area travelers yet another reason to choose MKE for their travel,” said Airport Director Brian Dranzik.

Spirit’s new flights from MKE will be operated with Airbus A320 aircraft featuring eight “Big Front Seats” and 174 standard seats. All flights are available for booking now at Spirit.com or on the Spirit Airlines mobile app.
